Arngrímur Sigurðsson
Introducing:
Arngrímur Sigurðsson
Arngrimur Sigurosson is a sculptor and painter working in Iceland. In his sculptures he works reductively with natural materials, such as stone, bone and wood and in his paintings he is usually inspired by fantasy, the imagination and old literature. Arngrimur's work runs the gamut of styles, but he's mostly been noticed for his visceral depictions of fantastical creatures and beings inspired by Icelandic mythology.
